Men’s Basketball heads to Menomonie to face UW-Stout

MENOMONIE, Wis. — Fresh off a victory at home last weekend against UW-Oshkosh, the UW-River Falls Men's Basketball team is back in action this week, traveling to face UW-Stout at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12.

The Falcons and Blue Devils previously met on Jan. 8 at Page Arena, with UW-Stout coming away with a narrow 66-64 victory.

FALCON NOTES

  • UWRF is coming off a 76-68 overtime victory at home against UW-Oshkosh, in which Jack Leifker led the way with a season-best 24 points. The Falcons outscored the Titans 14-6 in the overtime period, and finished the game 28-56 (50%) from the field and 8-16 (50%) from three-point range.
  • Zac Johnson leads the Falcons with 16.2 points, which ranks fifth among all WIAC players. Leifker has averaged 11.8 points per game, while leading UWRF with 5.6 rebounds per contest.
  • Johnson's 2.7 assists per game ranks seventh in the WIAC.
  • The Falcons are allowing opponents to score 65.9 points per game, which is the second best defensive rating in the conference. UWRF also holds opponents to 40.8% shooting from the field, the best mark of any WIAC school.
