WHITEWATER, Wis. — The UW-River Falls Women's Basketball team will be looking for its third top-25 victory of the season this Saturday at Page Arena, as the Falcons host #22/#24 UW-Whitewater.
UWRF is coming off a 66-58 victory over #17/#25 UW-Stout, in which a huge fourth quarter tilted the game in favor of the Falcons. UW-River Falls enters the week with a record of 13-9 overall and 5-6 in WIAC play.

FALCON NOTES
- In UWRF's win over UW-Stout at home, Zoey Buchan led the way with 19 points off 6-11 shooting. She added two rebounds and two blocks. Olivia Hoerl and Karleigh Creasey each scored 10 points, while Mari Ryberg led the team on the boards with a career-high nine rebounds.
- With five conference wins, the Falcons have tied their total from last season.
- UW-River Falls has posted a 6-2 record at home this year, with two of those wins coming against top-25 opponents. The Falcons are also 4-1 in conference play at home this year.
- So far this year, the Falcons are holding opponents to 38.1% from the field, which ranks second best in the WIAC.
- The Falcons have benefited from success beyond the arc, averaging 7.2 three-pointers per game, which ranks second in the WIAC.
- Olivia Hoerl ranks seventh in the WIAC in scoring (14.1 ppg) and sixth in rebounding (6.5 rpg). She has scored in double-figures in 15 consecutive games, and in 20 out of 22 games this season.
- Zoey Buchan ranks eighth in the WIAC in scoring, averaging 13.9 points per game. She is doing so off 43.1% shooting from the field and 41.2% shooting from beyond the arc. Her 47 three-pointers is the third most of any player in the conference.
