FALCON NOTES
- The Falcons opened the 2025 season winning four of six games at the RussMatt Invitational in Florida March 13-19.
- In the season opener on March 13, UWRF earned an emphatic 14-3 win over Nebraska Wesleyan during the program's first game since May 5, 2002.
- Most recently, UWRF closed out the spring trip with a 17-6 win over Springfield College, rallying from an early 5-0 deficit. Offensively, nine Falcons had at least one hit, with Max Stocco and Patrick Lundgren leading the way with three hits each, including four RBIs for Lundgren. Cade Bruett, Tanner Hraby, and JV Castillo followed with two hits each.Â
- Through six games, sophomore infielder Max Krebs leads the Falcons offensively with a .450 batting average, including nine hits in 20 at bats with 10 runs scored and eight runs batted in. In the field, he also leads the team with 13 assists, having started every game at second base.
- On the mound, Kaleb Zabielski started two games in Florida, allowing just two earned runs with eight strikeouts in 10 innings. He received the win during the Falcons' season-opening victory over NWU.
