The UW-River Falls baseball team is back in action this week, traveling to face Milwaukee in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday, March 26.
The game comes just before UWRF is set to host its first home games this weekend against UW-Stevens Point, which will also mark the team's WIAC opener.

FALCON NOTES
- The Falcons are fresh off a split doubleheader against Bethel last Sunday, with the teams playing at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Prior to the games, UWRF went 4-2 at the RussMatt Invite spring break trip in Florida.
- The Falcons won game one against Bethel 3-2, as pitcher Kaleb Zabielski improved to 3-0 on the year — he went six innings, allowing just one earned run off three hits. EJ Kuster came in to get the save with one perfect inning in relief.
- Through eight games so far this season, JV Castillo leads UWRF with a .435 batting average off a 10-23 clip at the plate — he has totaled five runs and five RBIs.Â
- Max Krebs leads the Falcons with eight RBIs and 10 runs.Â
- In three starts, Kaleb Zabielski has accumulated an ERA of 1.69 across 16.0 innings pitched. His three wins is tied for the most in the WIAC.
