The UW-River Falls baseball team is set to host No. 1-ranked UW-Whitewater this weekend, April 5-6 at First National Bank of River Falls Field. Both doubleheaders are scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.

•  For the remainder of the 2025 UW-River Falls Athletics spring sport schedule, admission to home events (including baseball) will transition to ONLINE ONLY sales through the partnership with VBO Tickets.
• UWRF Gameday staff will be present at each game to scan your tickets, and QR codes will be on site for ease of access to the website to purchase tickets to respective events.

FALCON NOTES

• The Falcons are riding a three-game winning streak, coming off a series win over UW-Stevens Point last weekend, winning three of four games.
  • Against the Pointers, Kale Twombly led the way with nine hits in 11 at bats (including a 4-for-4 game on Monday) while Max Krebs batted in eight runs with two doubles and two homers.
• Through 13 games, Max Krebs leads the Falcons with 16 RBI and 14 runs scored, while Tanner Hraby leads the team with 19 hits. Hraby's 10 stolen bases is tied for the lead in the WIAC.
  • Kale Twombly's .484 batting average ranks third in the WIAC while his .568 on-base percentage ranks second.
• Kaleb Zabielski has led the Falcon pitching staff thus far, accumulating a 1.80 ERA (3rd/WIAC) in 20 innings pitched, starting in all four of his appearances.
  • Cade Bruett has made three starts and leads the WIAC with only six hits allowed and a .136 opponent batting average.
