GREENWOOD, Ind. — The 2024-25 College Sports Communications (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large Teams were released on Tuesday, June 17, including six student-athletes from UW-River Falls;
Sydney Burgess and
Kate Garbow from women's golf,
Megan Goodreau and
Bailey Olson from women's hockey, and
Lilah Gilyard and
Samantha Hayek of women's lacrosse.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and academically. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore athletically and academically, have played in at least 90 percent or started in at least 66 percent of 2024-25 competition, with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his current institution.
The Women's At-Large program for the CSC Academic All-America program includes beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, and water polo.
