The UW-River Falls women's basketball team returns to WIAC action this week with a pair of matchups. The Falcons will host the UW-Stevens Point Pointers on Wednesday, Jan. 21, inside Don Page Arena, with tip-off set for 7 p.m. The Falcons will then travel to face the No. 18 UW-Platteville Pioneers on Saturday, Jan. 24, with a 3 p.m. tip in Platteville.

THE SERIES
UW-River Falls holds a 13-21 all-time record against Stevens Point but has found success recently, posting a 7-3 record over the last 10 meetings. The Falcons won the most recent matchup, defeating the Pointers 66-61 in River Falls last season.
The Falcons hold a 17-12 advantage in the all-time series against Platteville. River Falls has won the last two meetings, including a 63-58 victory in River Falls on Feb. 22, 2025, and will look to extend that streak on the road Saturday.

UW-River Falls enters the week with a 9-7 overall record and continues to rely on balanced scoring and defensive pressure from the group.
Zoey Buchan leads the Falcons offensively, averaging 13.4 points per game while shooting over 41 percent from three-point range.
The Falcons also receive steady contributions from

Taylor Clarey, giving River Falls multiple scoring options throughout the lineup.
Olivia Boily and
Jocelyn Plonski continue to lead on the glass, 5.2 and 4.9 boards per game, respectively.
