MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – D3football.com released its Team of the Week for games of Oct. 30-Nov. 1, 2026, with John Klefstad representing UW-River Falls at defensive tackle.

It's his second time earning a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week this season, and UWRF's fourth this season, following his first selection (Oct. 9-10), Kody Curtis (Sept. 10-12), and the offensive line of Masyn Wolf, Blake Ramlet, Grayden Thatcher, Jai Kalvik and Landon Weinmann (Sept. 18-19).

A senior from Boyceville, Wis., Klefstad helped power UW-River Falls to a 35-30 comeback victory over UW-Stout, recording six tackles, a tackle for loss, three pass breakups and a blocked kick. Klefstad's disruptive performance was instrumental in a dominant second-half defensive effort that helped the Falcons overcome a 24-7 halftime deficit.

The No. 14-ranked Falcons (6-2, 3-2 WIAC) return to action this Saturday, Nov. 7 at UW-La Crosse.

The Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, in its 28th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week. Players are nominated by schools.
