Jacob Balcome – Men's Track & Field (Jr., Alexandria, Minn.)
At the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala., March 13-14, Balcome set an NCAA Division III record with 5,487 points in the men's heptathlon, becoming the second ever student-athlete in the history of the event to become a back-to-back national champion.Â
Samantha Hayek – Women's Lacrosse (Sr., Scandia, Minn.)
Hayek led the Falcons to their fourth win in a row, defeating Lake Forest College 22-1 on Friday, March 13, tallying 10 points with five goals and five assists to become the program's all-time leading scorer with 208 career points in just three seasons. She passed Emma Kohlbeck, who previously held the record with 200 career points (2019-22).
