NEW ORLEANS, La. – Jacob Balcome has been named a co-Most Outstanding Men's Field Performer of the Championships by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following his performance at the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Balcome earned the honor after winning the heptathlon with a meet-record score of 5,487 points, which also marked a season best. He totaled 18 points in the USTFCCCA scoring formula, tying for the top honor in the field events.

The recognition highlights a historic performance for Balcome, who led the field once again this year, completing his back-to-back championship run.
