JANESVILLE, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's golf team finished 40-over-par as a team to place tied for sixth of 18 teams at the UW-Whitewater Spring Invite, April 17-18 at Riverside Golf Course.

Due to weather conditions, the meet was limited to 18 holes. UW-Stout brought home the team title with a score of 301 (+13).

Lauren Skov and Martha Effertz led the Falcons, both carding scores of 80 to tie for 18th among 100 golfers.

Next Sunday, April 26, the Falcons are set to compete at the UW-La Crosse Spring Invite at the Golf Club at Cedar Creek.
