UW-River Falls will return a strong group of competitors from last year's WIAC Outdoor Championships, led by reigning decathlon champion
Jacob Balcome. Balcome also brought home the WIAC Indoor title along with the Indoor National Championship title earlier this year. All-WIAC high jumper
Yaih Marial returns to UWL after a runner up finish last season and event victory in the Indoor Championships earlier this season along with
Logan Munson, who narrowly missed the podium in the 800m in 2025.
On the women's side,
Laina Viere returns after a fourth-place finish in the 10,000m, with
Adison Wilde (1500m) and
Alexis Koch (hammer throw) each scoring for the Falcons.Â
With several key returners across both track and field events, the Falcons enter the weekend with experience and proven championship-level performers.
