MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) released its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of March 30-April 5, with
Tanner Hraby representing UW-River Falls as the Baseball Position Player of the Week.
He becomes the first Falcon to receive a WIAC weekly award since the program's reinstatement and the first overall honoree in more than two decades, marking a significant milestone in the resurgence of UW-River Falls baseball.
Hraby powered the Falcons to three wins in five games last week, hitting .478 (11-for-23) with four runs scored, a double, a home run and two runs batted in. He also added four stolen bases, providing a consistent spark at the top of the UWRF lineup.
Defensively, Hraby posted a .962 fielding percentage, totaling 11 putouts and 14 assists on the week.
UWRF continues WIAC play this week with road games at UW-Stout and UW-Stevens Point.
