MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Taylor Sussner and Andre Hall were named to the 2026 D3football.com Preseason All-America Team, announced this Wednesday.

Sussner, a sophomore safety from Chaska, Minn., was named to the Second Team, while Hall, a senior safety from Cambridge, Minn., earned Third Team honors.

Sussner enters his sophomore season after an outstanding freshman campaign where he was named the D3FB Huddle Newcomer of the Year and WIAC Newcomer of the Year while earning All-WIAC Honorable Mention honors. He appeared in all 15 games, led the nation with five fumble recoveries while also leading the WIAC with seven interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns. 

Hall earned All-Region First Team and All-WIAC First Team honors following the 2025 season. He appeared in all 15 games and tied for the WIAC lead with nine pass breakups while ranking tied for second with four interceptions. He was also named to the D3football.com Team of the Week following a two-interception performance against UW-Platteville.

The duo helped anchor the Falcon's secondary during the 2025 season, culminating in the program's first NCAA Division III National Championship and a 14-1 overall record.

UW-River Falls opens its 2026 season on Thursday, Sept. 3 against Southern Virginia at Smith Stadium at Ramer Field.
