MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – D3football.com released its Team of the Week for games of Sept. 10-12, 2026, with Kody Curtis representing UW-River Falls at defensive tackle.

A junior from Buffalo, Minn., receiving his first career D3football.com Team of the Week honor, Curtis and the UWRF defense held No. 21-ranked Coe College to just a pair of field goals and 0.5 yards per rushing attempt during a 38-6 win on Saturday, Sept. 12 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Curtis was a disruptive force along the defensive front, recording four total tackles, including two and a half tackles for loss totaling 16 yards and one and a half sacks for 10 yards. He also added a pass breakup while helping the Falcons limit Coe to just 159 total yards.

The No. 4-ranked Falcons (2-0, 0-0 WIAC) head back to Iowa this week to face No. 6-ranked Wartburg College on Saturday, Sept. 19 in Waverly, Iowa.
