The Falcon softball team lost two one-run games in Florida on Tuesday and are now 4-6 this year.
Camden-Rutgers beat the Falcons, 2-1, in the first game and the Falcons lost a 1-0 game to Millikin in game two.

All three runs were scored in the first inning by the two teams.
C-M was up first and scored two runs on two hits and one Falcon error. The Falcons got one run back in their half of the first. Shawna Middleton (Hastings, MN, Hastings) led off with a single to center. Haley Selkirk (Northfield, MN, Northfield) sacrificed Middleton to second and then she advanced to third on a passed ball. Middleton scored when Hayley Buchanan (Eden Prairie, MN, Eden Prairie) grounded out to second.
Both teams finished with six hits. C-M made one error and UWRF made two.
Middleton was the only Falcon with a multiple hit game – she finished 2-4. Ashley Goettl (North Mankato, MN, West) hit her third double of the year in the first, but no runners were on base.
Jamie Klein (Elk River, MN, Elk River) started on the mound and took the loss. She worked five innings and allowed two earned runs. She walked two and struck out two. She is now 3-3. Rose Tusa (Roseville, MN, St. Anthony Village) worked the last two innings and struck out five of the six batters she faced.
Millikin 1, River Falls 0
MU scored on unearned run in the bottom of the seventh to get the win. Millikin scored the one run on one hit and one Falcon error.
UWRF finished with seven hits and MU had three. Goettl led the Falcons going 2-3 and she hit her fourth double of the year to lead off the fourth. UWRF had runners on second and third with no outs, but couldn't score.
Tusa pitched well for the Falcons allowed just the one unearned run and three hits. She struck out four and walked two. She is now 1-3 this season.
The Falcons have Wednesday off and return to action on Thursday when they play Nazareth at 1 p.m. (ET) and Roger Williams at 3 p.m. (ET) at the Osceola Complex.
