The men's swim team fell to Luther College 184-98 at a meet hosted by Luther College in Iowa.

Victor Lara (Sao Paulo, Brazil) led the Falcons with a first place finish in the 200 free along with Isaac Milkey (Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Lincoln) with a first place finish in the 50 back.  Lara finished over two seconds better than the next place finisher from Luther with a time of 1:51.73 in the 200, and Milkey edged out his next opponent in the 50 backstroke with a time of 29.19. The second place finisher came in at 29.26. Lara would also take second in the 100 free with a time of 50.28, only .07 seconds behind the first place finisher from Luther.

The 200 freestyle relay team of Chris Regnier (Prescott, WI, Home Schooled), Michael Landorf (Eau Claire, WI, Memorial), Justin Arneson (Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Lincoln) and Milkey gained 11 points for UWRF for a first place performance with a time of 1:41.27.

Lucas Hetzel (South Milwaukee, WI, South Milwaukee) also turned in a strong performance for the Falcons in the 1000.  He placed second overall with a time of 11:13.17.

With the loss, the Falcons are now 1-2 on the season.  They will return to action at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2 as they take on Macalester College for a home meet.
