Kinsel Scores Two Goals, Assist in 6-1 Victory

UWRF Dominates All Aspects of Game

UW-River Falls dominated all aspects of the game tonight winning by a score of 6-1 over St. Olaf College.

It was all UWRF after the first period as they scored three goals. The first goal of the game came at 2:08 into the game by Brooke Story off the Crysta Lowell and Chloe Kinsel assist. This was Story's third goal of the season. Katie Batters added the second goal of the game at 14:59. This was Batters fourth goal.  Alyssa Black was recorded with the assist. Thirty seconds later Kinsel added a goal at 15:29 for her third goal of the season. The Falcons defense only allowed St. Olaf to get off two shots in the whole first period of play.

UWRF continued the strong play in the second period adding two more goals. Taylor Guzzo recorded her first goal of the season at 3:37 into the period assisted by Alice Cranston and Lauren SchweppeAlyssa Jackson put in her second goal of the season to make the game 6-0 at 5:51 into the second period.

The loan goal of the third period was scored by Magrot Fleming for STO at 17:38 into the period.

UWRF outshot St. Olaf 41 –17. Freshman Gillian McDonald got the start tonight recording 13 saves.

UWRF will continue play Friday, Nov. 30 at home agasint UW-Stevens Point with the puck set to drop at 3:05 p.m.
