Box Score

The UW-River Falls Falcon football team dropped their last game of the season 43-6 at UW-Whitewater.

Whitewater is now 10-0 on the season and are the WIAC champions.

A fast paced UWW offense marched down the field in only one minute and five seconds on a six play 64 yard drive to start the game.

On UWRF's second drive of the game they ran the ball 14 straight times out of the triple option. Tyler Ledbeter who had started the previous nine games at cornerback started at quarterback for the Falcons today and maneuvered the offense in the slow and steady run game. Jesse McKune and Emmanuel Udeh both found success in the offense.

McKune ran for 47 yards on 15 carries and Udeh ran for 65 yards on 16 carries. The drive would end on the 15th play when Ledbeter rolled out and throw a rainbow of a pass to a diving Jordan Christianson for a 21 yard touchdown strike. Hear the call by WRFW's Ryan Tibbitts.  Ledbeter only threw four passes all game going 3-4 for 18 yards and had 19 rushing yards.

The game would get out of hand for UWRF in the second quarter. A couple of miscues from fumbles and a blocked punt that turned into a safety hurt them and UWW would score 22 second quarter points.

Ryan Kusilek played quarterback most of the fourth quarter for the Falcons. He had came into the game injured but fought through it and finished the game 8-15 for 68 yards passing. Christianson was the leading receiver with six catches for 51 yards.

UWW scored 14 more points in the third quarter to finish with the 43-6 victory.

Luke Radke led the Falcons in tackles again with 10 total. Kyle Kittle had six and Corey Cushing played strong with five tackles including one for a loss.

UWRF will lose seven seniors from this year's team. They finish the season 0-10 overall.
