The Falcon women's swimming & diving team placed sixth of eight teams at the St. Catherine Invitational held Saturday in St. Paul, Minn.

The Falcons scored 226.5 points and finished just nine points behind the fifth place team.

Becca Skelly performed well in three freestyle events. She placed second in the 500 free in 5:35.66, fifth in the 100 free in 58.33 and third in the 200 free in 2:06.08. 

Kayla Donahue also swam well for the Falcons in two backstroke events. She placed third in the 100 back in 1:06.83 and third in the 200 back in 2:23.47. 

The Falcon 200 free relay team of Skelly, Donahue, Katy Dorn and Erica Emery placed sixth in 1:48.82.

The Falcons will next host Hamline at 1 p.m., on Saturday at the River Falls High School pool.
