Box Score The Falcon women's basketball team lost a 72-55 WIAC game to UW-Superior, the No,. 4 team in the conference standings, Wednesday night at the Karges Center.
The Falcons took the early lead in the first half, and went on a 7-0 run with 17:47 left to play. They continued to hold the lead until Superior's Sally Linzmeier made a jumper tio put her team in the lead for the first time, 26-25, with 4:33 left to play. Superior held the lead at the end of the half 36-32.

Ali Clark all scored eight first half points to lead UWRF.
Superior continued to hold the lead in the second half and led by double digits for the last 18:25 of the game. The Falcons got to within 11, 49-38, with 14:03 to play when
Kate Theisen made two free throws. But UWS went on a 6-0 run to take control of the contest.
Saxton and Clark led the Falcons in scoring with 10 points each. Saxton led the team in rebounds with five. Messman finished with eight points.
The Falcons went 20-56 (.357) from the field, and 5-19 (.263) for 3-pointers. From the free throw line they went 10-17 (.588).
Superior was led in scoring by Linzmeier who had 27 points and she grabbed a team best 10 rebounds. Also scoring in double digits was Bryn Liljander with 16.
The Falcons, now 6-18 overall and 4-11 in the WIAC will play their final regular season game on Saturday when they host UW-Platteville at 3 p.m., at the Karges Center.
