Stevens Point, WI (uwrfsports.com) This weekend the Men's and Women's track and field teams traveled to the WIAC Indoor Conference Championships at UW-Stevens Point. The Falcons competed against the best in the WIAC to come up with podium finishes, personal records, and season bests. The women's track team finished in 8
th place scoring 9 points, and the men's track team also finished in 8
th place scoring 6.5 points on the weekend.

In the Field:
- Kimberly Robertson established a new personal record in the pole vault with a height of 3.13m (10'3.25"), a .25m improvement.
- Justin Barnes placed 8th in the heptathlon* with 4,477 points, ranking him 2nd on the UWRF All-Time Performance List. He also tied for 9th in the high jump, with a height of 1.85m (6'0.75").
- Colton Sorensen tied for 5th in the pole vault with a season best height of 4.76m (15'7.25"). He also placed 9th in the heptathlon* with 4,362 points ranking him 4th on the UWRF All-Time Performance List.
- Haley Macklem narrowly missed her personal record by .05m in the high jump, posting a 1.48m (4'10.25") height.
- Joe Swanson established a new personal record in the weight throw with a 14.43m (47'4.25"), ranking him 8th on the UWRF All-Time Performance List.
- Abby Bakken threw in the both the shot put and weight throw, posting 11.78m (38'7.75") and 13.78m (45'2.5") respectively.
- Riley Jacobson established a new personal record in the heptathlon with 3,893 points, showing improvements in nearly all 7 events.

On the Track:
- The women's Distance Medley Relay (1200m-400m-800m-1600m) team of Nikki Jurik, Alanna Grant, Emily Klatt, and Katelyn Moore placed 4th overall with a time of 12:42.73. This ranks the DMR team 6th on the UWRF All-Time Performance List.
- Nikki Jurik placed 8th in the mile with a season best time of 5:14.93. She also ran a 2-second personal best in the 3000m run (10:32.73) and was the WIAC Sportsmanship award recipient for UWRF.
- Adam Kasper ran an indoor personal record in the 800m with a time of 1:57.45, a 1.3 second improvement, placing him 9th.
- Linsey Tolkkinen placed 7th in the 5k with a time of 18:24.33 after battling sickness for the past 3 weeks.
- Emmy Farago ran a 4-second personal record in the mile for a time of 5:15.79 and a 2:27.05 in the 800m run.
- Kyle Dorosz ran a 7.12 in the 60m dash at his first indoor conference championships.
- Katelyn Moore placed 9th in the mile with a 5:15.55 and a 2:28.07 in the 800m run to round out her 3-race weekend.
- Braydon Johnson ran 16:06.21 in the 5k.
- Jean Lain established a new personal record in the 800m run with a 2:02.56, while also competing on the Men's DMR and 4x400m relay, which both placed 8th.
