RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrsports.com) – Four members of the UW-River Falls Softball team have been named to the 2021 All-WIAC Softball Team.  In addition, freshman outfielder Johanna Breyen received Newcomer of the Year recognition.
 
Tayler Fall and Johanna Breyen earned first team accolades while Juliana Reynolds was named honorable mention.  Rebecca Daley was named to the All-Sportsmanship team.
 
Breyen, who was recently named NFCA All-Region, hit .413 in her first year of WIAC conference play.  She led the Falcons in conference hits and runs scored and was second on the team in WIAC doubles and RBIs.  She had a hit in ten of her thirteen conference appearances.  Overall, this season she hit .443 and ranked 4^th in the conference for batting average.
 
Junior designated hitter Tayler Fall finished the season nineth in the WIAC standings with a .438 conference batting average.  She led the Falcons in conference and regular season RBIs and was seventh in the conference averaging one RBI per game.  She finished the season with a .656 slugging percentage and a .500 on base percentage.
 
Reynolds collected four conference wins on the season.  She finished fourth in the conference in innings pitched and strikeouts.  In her 50 WIAC inning pitched, she averaged 4.76 strikeouts per game for 34 total strikeouts. 
 
Senior Rebecca Daley was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship team.  The All-sportsmanship team is chosen for individuals that displayed exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season.  It includes one member from each school.
