HASTINGS, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-River Falls women's golf team shot a 36-round season low of 691 at the DIII Classic Sept. 18-19 at Emerald Greens Golf Course, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College.
Despite the season-low team score of 691 through two rounds, the Falcons finished 18th of 20 teams among tough competition with schools from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and the American Rivers Conference. Bethel University from the MIAC turned in a team score of 625 for first place.
Sydney Hufnagle brought home the top score for UWRF, shooting 83 and 82 for a 165 to tie for 49th place of 115.
