THE SERIES
- Wednesday's matchup versus UWL will be the 32nd all-time meeting between the Falcons and Eagles, with UW-La Crosse holding a slight lead in the all-time series at 14-13-4.
- Most recently, the Eagles defeated UWRF 3-0 in La Crosse during the 2019 season.
- UWL is riding a five-game winning streak against UWRF. The Falcons last defeated the Eagles with a 1-0 overtime WIAC playoff victory in 2014.
- On Saturday, the meeting between the Falcons and Warhawks will be the 36th all-time matchup. UWW owns a 24-9-2 series advantage.
- UWRF and UWW last met during the 2019 WIAC semifinals, with the Warhawks prevailing 3-1 in Whitewater.
FALCON NOTES
- UWRF improved its record to .500 after an 8-0 victory over Finlandia University last Saturday, recording a season-high for goals scored. Kassidy Mackie (So., Woodbury, Minn.) recorded her first career-high trick during the win.
- For her performance, Mackie was awarded the RCU Female Falcon of the Week.
- Madyson Shew (Fr., River Falls, Wis.) scored two goals versus Finlandia to notch her fourth multi-goal effort on the season. Her eighth and ninth goals of the year leads the WIAC. She also leads the league with three game-winning goals.
- Alexis Peterson (So., Mankato, Minn.) leads the WIAC with 21 points off eight goals and five assists.
- The Falcons' eight goals scored versus Finlandia were the most by UWRF since a 9-0 victory over Martin Luther College in 2018.
- UWRF's 28 goals scored ranks second in the WIAC.
