No. 24 Falcons host Blue Devils in regular season finale

SENIOR DAY LAST TIME OUT
  • UWRF fell by a score of 24-17 at No. 7-ranked UW-La Crosse last Saturday. Down 24-7 with under seven minutes left in regulation, the Falcons fought back to come within one score.
  • The Falcons led the Eagles 350-314 in yards of total offense, but committed four turnovers.
THE SERIES
  • Saturday's marks the 107th all-time matchup between the Falcons and Blue Devils with UW-River Falls holding a 70-36 series advantage.
  • Last season, the Falcons defeated the Blue Devils 57-35 in Menomonie, compiling 666 yards of total offense, including 247 rushing yards from 2021 Falcon graduate Luke Fugate. He was recognized with WIAC Offensive Player of the Week and D3football.com Team of the Week accolades.

  • Quarterback Kaleb Blaha (So., Coon Rapids, Minn.) ranks 9th nationally and leads the WIAC with 310.3 yards of total offense per game. He's also the league's leading scorer with 11 touchdowns and ranks second with 830 rushing yards, averaging 92.2 yards per game.
  • Defensively, Michael Brown (So., Victoria, Minn.) leads the WIAC with seven interceptions, ranking third nationally with 0.8 per game. Brown and fellow corner back Dylan Brown (So., Mequon, Wis.) are tied for third in the league with nine passes defended each, including eight pass breakups from Dylan Brown.
  • Aaron Borgerding (So., Spring Valley, Wis.) is the WIAC leader with 46 solo tackles and has tallied double-digit total tackles in five games this season.
