LA CROSSE, Wis. – The UW-River Falls men's basketball team fell by a score of 85-70 Wednesday evening at Viterbo University.
Four Falcon starters scored in double figures, led by
Logan Jedwabny tying a season-high with 20 points with six three-pointers.
Dylan Parker added 12 and four assists, while
Rodrick Payne had 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds.
UWRF shot 21-of-51 from the field with a season-high 10 made three-pointers. Viterbo held an edge in rebounds, 35-29.
In the first half, Viterbo held the Falcons to under 40 percent shooting, and trailed 40-32 at the half.
The Falcons' shooting improved in the second half, and five and a half minutes in a
Rodrick Payne dunk trimmed the V-Hawk lead to 50-46. Viterbo answered with a three-pointer and maintained a lead for the rest of regulation.
The Falcons (3-5, 0-2 WIAC) head to Wisconsin Dells, Wis., to face Carroll University on Saturday.
