THE SERIES
- Saturday's game marks the 44th all-time meeting between the Falcons and Gusties, with Gustauvs holding a 24-15-4 series advantage.
- The two teams have met six times in the NCAA Tournament, with the Gusties winning four.
- Most recently, the Falcons defeated Gustavus 4-1 in the first round on March 11, 2020, before the tournament was canceled due to COVID-19.
NCAA TOURNAMENT HISTORY
- The Falcons are making their 13th appearance in the NCAA Tournament, earning an at-large bid after winning both the 2021-22 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) regular season and tournament titles.
- UWRF has reached the 'Frozen Four' five times (2003, 2009, 2014, 2015, 2016), including a pair of third-place finishes and a national runner-up finish in 2016.

FALCON NOTES
- UWRF is coming off a 7-0 shutout over Aurora University on Wednesday at Hunt Arena during the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Falcons went 4-for-8 on the power play, including a 3-for-3 output on the man advantage during the first period.
- The Falcons broke a program record with their 27th win of the season on Wednesday, surpassing win totals of 26 from the 2015-15 and 2016-17 seasons.
- Goaltender Sami Miller picked up her eighth shutout of the season, tallying 20 saves versus Aurora. She is unbeaten since Nov. 20 against No. 2-ranked UW-Eau Claire, the Falcons' sole loss of the season.
- During Wednesday's victory, fifth-year senior forward Callie Hoff notched five points (2g-3a) to break the UWRF single-season scoring record with her 66th point of the season. Hoff surpassed Dani Sibley's point total of 65 from the 2016-17 season.
- Callie Hoff was honored with the WIAC Player of the Year award for the second consecutive season and became the UWRF all-time leading scorer this season. She currently leads DIII with 66 points (26g-40a).
- UWRF was consistently ranked in the USCHO.com Division III Women's Poll throughout the season and is currently ranked second in the PairWise Rankings.
- The Falcons currently lead the nation with 13 shorthanded goals and rank second with 36 power play goals. Kora Torkelson leads Division III with 10 power play goals.
- This season, UWRF has broken single-season records in goals (162), assists (252), points (414), shorthanded goals (13), and shutouts (13).
