OSHKOSH, Wis. – The UW-River Falls men's basketball team fell by a score of 68-55 at No. 19-ranked UW-Oshkosh Saturday.
UWRF dips to 7-8 overall and 1-3 in the WIAC, snapping its three-game win streak.
Logan Jedwabny, coming off a 30-point night during Wednesday's win at UW-Stout, led the Falcons again with 13 points. He shot 4-of-8 from the field and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.
Dylan Parker followed with 12 points while
Mason Anderson and
Rodrick Payne each had six rebounds.
The Falcons were held to under 40 percent shooting from the field while UWO shot just over 40. The Titans held a 34-30 edge in rebounds.
After a Parker layup opened the game's scoring, UWO gained a double-digit lead in the next 11 minutes and held on to its lead for the rest of the game.
Down 35-27 at halftime, the Falcons opened the second half on a 9-4 run in the first four minutes to trim the Titan lead to 39-36. That was the closest UWRF was able to cut into the UWO lead.
UWRF returns to Page Arena next Wednesday to host UW-Stevens Point.
