RIVER FALLS, Wis. The No. 3 ranked UW-River Falls women's hockey team improved to 8-0 on the season with a 6-0 shutout of St. Olaf Tuesday night at Hun Arena.
The Oles hung with the Falcons in the first period, holding them to just one goal. That goal came on one of two power play opportunities that Falcons saw all night. With the skating advantage,

Bailey Olson each scored a goal in the second period giving the Falcons a 4-0 lead going into the third period.
The Falcons scored tow more goals in the first minute and a half of the third period to secure the 6-0 shutout. McCollins scored her second goal of the night at 32 seconds and
Aubrey Nelvin scored at 1:19.
UWRF outshot St. Olaf 42-17 and were led by McCollins and Goodreau who each had seven shots on goal. Both players as well as
Brooke Lemke each collected three points.
Jordan O'Connor improved to 6-0 with her 17 saves. This was her second shutout of the season.
Next up for the Falcons will be Adrian College on Thursday November 30
th. The Falcons will host the Bulldogs in a nonconference matchup that will start at 7:05 pm.
