MANKATO, Minn. – The UW-River Falls track & field sent a group of distance runners to the Ted Nelson Classic on the campus of Minnesota-State Mankato Saturday afternoon.
Maddie Greelis and
Erin Borash along with a group of seven Falcon men both competed in the 5,000-meter run.
Greelis set an indoor best with a time of 19:52.05 to finish fourth, while Borash finished seventh with a time of 21:16.43.
In his first career indoor 5K,
Logan Munson led the Falcon men with a time of 15:49.44 to finish third of 12 runners.
Up next, the Falcon track & field team hosts its sole home meet of the indoor season in the Falcon Winter Classic next Saturday, Feb. 11 inside Knowles Field House.
