RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's lacrosse team defeated UW-Stout 25-3 Wednesday evening from Smith Stadium at Ramer Field.
The Falcons improve to 11-5 overall with their sixth consecutive win, remaining unbeaten at home with a 7-0 record.
UWRF jumped out to a 13-1 advantage after one period and cruised to victory, outshooting the Blue Devils 50-11 while recording season-highs in goals scored, points, shots, and shots on goal.
10 different Falcons found the back of the net, led by five goals from
Emily Herdine and four each from
Josie Johnson and
Kinlee Knutson. In addition,
Arianna Jakubczak scored her first goal as a Falcon.
Kayden Hersback made eight saves in net to earn the win, improving her record to 6-4 on the season.
The Falcons close out the regular season this Friday against Aurora University.
