NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its 2026 Division III Academic Honor Roll and Academic Honor Squads, with the UW-River Falls Women's Lacrosse program once again earning recognition for its success in the classroom.
The Falcons placed nine student-athletes on the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll while also being recognized as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad. Teams must maintain a collective 3.2 GPA during the academic year to qualify for Academic Honor Squad recognition.
The following Falcons were named to the 2026 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll:
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be juniors, seniors or graduate students and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. The IWLCA recognized 1,350 student-athletes from institutions across Division III this year.
The Falcons are coming off a 2026 season in which they finished 15-4 overall and 7-1 in WIAC play, advancing to the WIAC Tournament Championship. UW-River Falls placed seven student-athletes on the All-WIAC Team, saw its coaching staff named the WIAC Coaching Staff of the Year, and had two student-athletes earn IWLCA All-Region honors.
