EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-River Falls softball team dropped a pair of WIAC road games at UW-Eau Claire Wednesday afternoon.
The Blugolds won both games on seventh inning walk offs, dipping the Falcons' overall record to 14-20 and 2-10 during league action.
UWRF wraps up the regular season tomorrow at home versus UW-Whitewater.

Trailing 3-2 in the top of the seventh, UWRF stayed alive with a

Keegan Piton off a Blugold error, but the home team answered in the bottom half with a walk-off double to earn the win in game one.
UWEC totaled eight hits compared to UWRF's six, while was paced by a career-high three-hit game from
Eleanor Hoge.
The Falcons tied the game in the second on a pick off play as Renikow stole home and tied the game up again in the sixth with a Hoge RBI single.
Savanna Trittelwitz made the start in the pitcher's circle and allowed two runs in 4.1 innings pitched with a trio of strikeouts.
Emily Crowe pitched the final two innings and conceded the loss.

After a scoreless pitcher's duel through six innings, the Blugolds walked off the Falcons again, scoring in the seventh inning for the doubleheader sweep.
UWRF's
Maggie Wallin gave up just one run off three hits in six innings pitched, while UWEC's Jacie Shultz and Madi Zerr limited the Falcons to five total hits during the shutout.
Keegan Piton led the Falcons with a pair of hits, including a double.
