RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The UW-River Falls volleyball team picked up a midweek non-conference three set sweep against Macalester Wednesday evening.
The Falcons, who are now 6-2 on the season, outscored the Scots 46-23. They hit .272 as a team while holding Macalester to just .057.
UWRF won the first two sets 25-16 and finished the final set 25-18. The Falcons hit a match high .333 in the first set. They totaled 46 kills to the Scots 23.
Sami Hilley led UWRF with 11 kills, a .786 attack percentage, two service aces and four blocks. She closed out the match for the Falcons scoring 4 of the last six points for the Falcons in the third set.
Two Falcons saw double digit digs with
Brenna Olson leading the way with 17 and
Kameri Meredith with 12.
The Falcons travel to the UW-Eau Claire Tournament Friday September 15 to take on UW-Superior.
