REEDSBURG, Wis. - The UW-River Falls women's golf team finished seventh at the 2024 WIAC Championship, wrapping up its fall campaign with a 54-hole total team score of 1039 (+175) Oct. 4-6 at Reedsburg Country Club.
UW-Whitewater took home its eighth consecutive team title with a score of 958 (+94).
The Falcons carded team scores of 344, 349, and 346 Friday through Sunday for a three-day total of 1039, UWRF's best score at the WIAC Championship since the 2018 season in which the Falcons tallied 1003 strokes.
Individually, the Falcons were led by
Sydney Burgess, who notched scores of 84, 88, and 85 to finish 34th. Burgess was also selected to the All-WIAC Sportsmanship Team.
