Falcons wrap up competition in Madison

MADISON, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's golf team completed a pair of competitions on Monday, participating in the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite and the Edgewood College Invite.

At the UWW Fall Invite at TPC Wisconsin Sept. 28-29, the Falcons carded a team score of 700 with rounds of 345 and 355 (+124) to place 15th of 17 teams. Pomona-Pitzer, ranked fourth in NCAA Division III, took home the team title with a 36-hole team score of 585.

UWRF also sent a group of golfers to compete as individuals at the Edgewood College Invite at Odana Hills Golf Course, including duplicate rounds of 86 from Madison Haines - season-low rounds to finish 29th of 87 golfers.

Lauren Skov and Megan Bermejo led the Falcons individually at the UWW Invite, finishing tied for 43rd among 93 golfers, both finishing 43-over-par. 

Up next, the Falcons are set to close out the 2025 fall schedule by competing at the WIAC Championships Oct. 3-5 at Reedsburg Country Club in Reedsburg, Wis.
