REEDSBURG, Wis. - The UW-River Falls women's golf team finished seventh at the 2025 WIAC Championship, wrapping up its 2025 fall schedule with a 54-hole total team score of 1,011 (+147) Oct. 3-5 at Reedsburg Country Club.
UW-Stout won the team title with a score of 935 (+71), snapping UW-Whitewater's eight-year title streak.
The Falcons carded team scores of 339, 340, and 332 Friday through Sunday for a three-day total of 1039, UWRF's second-best score at the WIAC Championship in program history, just eight strokes behind the 2018 team's total of 1,003.
Individually, the Falcons were paced by of freshmen;
Megan Bermejo,
Ellie Whitbred, and
Martha Effertz, who all finished among the top 25 on the individual leaderboard. Bermejo led the way, finishing +35 and tied for 22nd.
