The No. 1-ranked UWRF women's hockey team restores its rivalry with WIAC foes UW-Eau Claire this week, hosting the No. 10-ranked Blugolds on Saturday at Hunt Arena.

AGAINST THE BLUGOLDS
- Saturday's game marks the 89th all-time meeting between UW-River Falls and UW-Eau Claire, with the Falcons leading the series 69-17-2.
- Last season, the Falcons defeated the Blugolds four times, three times in the regular season before a 2-1 overtime victory in the WIAC O'Brien Cup Tournament Championship, with Kenzie Dunn scoring the game-winner six minutes into OT.
FALCONÂ NOTES
- The Falcons are ranked No. 1 in both of the USCHO and DIII Hockey News national polls for the third consecutive week.
- UWRF opened its WIAC schedule last weekend with a 4-4 draw against UW-Stevens Point and an 11-0 win at Northland. Friday's tie extended UWRF's overall unbeaten streak to 36 games, breaking a NCAA Division III record set by Plattsburgh State from 2006-07.
- Against the Pointers and Lumberjills, MaKenna Aure led the Falcons with six points (3g-3a), including her first career hat trick at Northland on Saturday.
- On Saturday at Northland, behind Aure's hat trick, Madison Kadrlik had two goals, and freshman goaltender Olivia Hansen made her first appearance in net and made six saves en route to earning her first career win and shutout.
- All four Falcon goaltenders have seen time in net so far this season, led by junior Jordan O'Kane. O'Kane has started in four of six games and owns a .868 save percentage and 2.5 goals against average.
