AGAINST THE POINTERS
- Saturday's matchup marks the 91st all-time matchup between UW-River Falls and UW-Stevens Point, with the Falcons holding a 49-38-3Â series advantage.
- Last season, the Falcons defeated the Pointers 75-14 in Stevens Point, setting a set a program record scoring total against a WIAC opponent. It also marked the second-highest margin of victory against a conference foe in UWRF history, behind a 69-6 victory over UW-Superior set in 1989.

- UWRFÂ dropped out of the top 25 in the D3football.com AFCA national polls for the first time this season in this week's rankings.
- The Falcons were ranked as high as No. 4 after the Oct. 5 win over UW-Eau Claire, tying the program's highest national ranking by a media outlet.
- UWRF was tabbed to finish third in the 2024 WIAC Preseason Poll. UW-La Crosse, the defending league co-champions, has been picked to capture the 2024 WIAC Championship.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Falcons concded a second consecutive loss last Saturday, falling 13-7 at UW-Whitewater.
- UWW held UWRF to a season-low 50 rushing yards while the Falcon defense was strong, giving up a season-low point total.Â
- Cade Fitzgerald scored the lone Falcon touchdown, a six-yard rushing score.
- Riley Warzynski finished with 221 passing yards, led by 78 receiving yards from Michael Krueger.Â
- Gage Timm led the Falcon defense with 15 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss and one sack.
FALCON NOTES
- UWRF ranks among the top 15 in Division III and leads the WIAC in total offense (444.3 yards per game) and first downs (206 total, 25.8 per game).
- UWRF leads the WIAC and ranks 10th in DIII with 15 interceptions as a team.
- Eight Falcons have at least one interception, led by three from Michael Brown.
- Brown recorded his third interception of the season at UW-Whitewater. With his 16th interception of his career, he is now tied for third all-time for the most interceptions at UWRF, matching Dennis Herum (1981-84).
- Junior linebacker Gage Timm leads the Falcon defense with 75 total tackles (2nd/WIAC) while leading the WIAC with 12.5 tackles for loss. He had 20 tackles at Alma College on Sept. 7 and was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week.
- Quarterback Cade Fitzgerald is the WIAC leader with 11 touchdowns and ranks fourth with 521 rushing yards.
- Junior kicker Justin Scheberl has made 40 extra points on the season and is just one successful PAT shy from tying the UWRF record set by Andy Feil, who totaled 138 extra points from 1986-89. He came into this season ranked third all-time with 97 extra points made.
