WATERLOO, Iowa - The UW-River Falls women's golf team carded a team score of 342 (+54) on Saturday to finish second at the Waterloo Intercollegiate, hosted by Hawkeye Community College at Gates Park Golf Course.

The Falcons improved their team score by 14 strokes during round two after turning in a team score of 356 (+68) during round one on Friday. Iowa Central Community College won the meet with a 36-hole team score of 687.

After sitting tied for second place after round one with an 84, Kate Garbow followed up with an 82 on Saturday to take home the individual crown, finishing 22-over-par. Sydney Burgess also finished fifth after dropping eight strokes from her Friday score, shooting an 83 on Saturday.
