TREMPEALEAU, Wis. - The UW-River Falls women's golf team opened its 2024 spring schedule on Sunday afternoon, competing at the Viterbo University Invite at Trempealeau Mountain Golf Club.

The Falcons shot an 18-hole team score of 371 to finish in fifth place. UW-La Crosse took home the team title with a score of 335.

Sydney Burgess led the Falcons, carding a 90 to finish 14th individually.

UWRF is scheduled for three more meets this spring, with an upcoming competition on April 13-14 at Emerald Greens Golf Course in Hastings, Minn., the Gustavus Spring Invite.
