ONALASKA, Wis. — The UW-River Falls Women's Golf team continued its 2024 season with a fifth-place team finish at the UW-La Crosse Fall Invitational at the Golf Club at Cedar Creek this weekend.
The Falcons finished with a team score of 674, after shooting 343 on day one and 331 on day two of the invitational.
UW-Stout took home the team title with a score of 613, followed by UW-La Crosse.
Lily Sullivan was UWRF's top finisher for the weekend, shooting 167 (85, 82) to place tied for 16th. Grace Gabriel totaled a 168 (86, 82) to place tied for 19th. Sydney Burgess shot a 169 (86, 83) to place tied for 21st. Lauren Skov rounded out UWRF's top-25 finishers, shooting a 170 (86, 84).
Up next, the Falcons will compete at the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite in Madison, Wis. The invitational begins on Sept. 22 and concludes on Sept. 23.
