UWRF student health and counseling will be at the game for support and to also spread mental health awareness.

IN THE RANKINGS
  • UW-River Falls is ranked No. 7 by D3football.com and No. 8 by AFCA in the latest top 25 Division III national polls.
  • UWRF was tabbed to finish third in the 2024 WIAC Preseason Poll. UW-La Crosse, the defending league co-champions, has been picked to capture the 2024 WIAC Championship.
  • Last season, the Falcons were ranked among the top 25 throughout the season and earned the program's highest national rankings by a coaches' poll and national media outlet, ranked as high as No. 4 by D3football.com and the AFCA Division III Coaches' Poll. UWRF led the WIAC with 298 total first downs (2nd/NCAA DIII), 43 points per game, passing offense (329.5 yards per game), 527.1 yards of total offense per game, and red zone defense (71.9%).
FALCON NOTES
  • Coming off a bye week, the then-ranked No. 17 Falcons earned a road win during their season opener on Sept. 7 at No. 7-ranked Alma College, defeating the Scots 41-35.
    • The win marked the second consecutive year that the Falcons have opened the season with an upset victory over a top-10 team, after UWRF defeated No. 3 Mary Hardin-Baylor 45-22 to open the 2023 season.
    • During the win, senior quarterback Kaleb Blaha compiled 426 yards of total offense to become UWRF's all-time leader in total offense, increasing his career total to 8,234 yards. He passed Ryan Kusilek's total of 7,880 set from 2012-15.
    • Junior linebacker Gage Timm led the Falcons with a career-high 20 total tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss. Timm's 20 tackles are the most by a Falcon since Max Praschak recorded 20 total tackles against UW-Eau Claire on Oct. 12, 2019.
    • Kaleb Blaha was named the WIAC Offensive Player of the Week for the fifth time in his career, and Gage Timm was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week and was selected as the Kline Nissan Falcon of the Week.
