MADISON, Wis. — The UW-River Falls women's golf team completed competition at the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite on Monday, totaling a 36-hole team score of 721 at TPC Wisconsin.
The tournament featured four teams ranked inside the DIII WGCA Top 25 Coaches Poll, and five others receiving votes.
The Falcons carded a 349 in round one on Sunday, followed by a 372 on Monday. Centre College brought home the team title with a score of 304 (+43).
UWRF was led individually by Sydney Burgess, who shot an 84 both rounds for a total of 168 (+26).
Up next, the Falcons prep for the WIAC Championship, Oct. 4-6 in Reedsburg, Wis.
