SUPERIOR, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's golf team wrapped up its second meet of the 2024 fall season on Sunday, carding a round two score of 329 to finish 96-over-par as a team to finish in second among eight teams at the sixth annual Twin Ports Collegiate, hosted by UW-Superior at Nemadji Golf Club.
UWRF's two-day score of 672 is just three strokes shy of the program record of 669 set at the Division III Classic in 2022. The Falcons dropped 14 strokes as a team on Sunday, shooting a 343 during the opening round on Saturday.
Augsburg University took home the team title with a 36-hole team score of 663 (+87).
Individually, Kate Garbow led the Falcons, finishing in fourth of 45 golfers with a two-day score of 164 (+11).

Next weekend, the Falcons are scheduled to travel to Onalaska, Wis., to compete in the UW-La Crosse Fall Invite.
