PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The UW-River Falls Women's Basketball team will head to UW-Platteville this Saturday, January 18, for a WIAC matchup against the Pointers at 3 p.m.
The Falcons enter the game with a record of 9-6 overall and 1-3 in conference play. Most recently, UWRF lost a closely-contested road matchup at UW-Stevens Point by a score of 58-53.

- The Falcons are coming off a five-point loss to UW-Stevens Point, in which Olivia Hoerl led the team with 18 points off 7-14 shooting, while Zoey Buchan and Karleigh Creasey each tallied 11 points.
- Hoerl leads UWRF in both scoring (13.6 ppg) and rebounding (6.3 rpg). Buchan averages 12.7 points per game — she was named WIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the period of Dec. 23 - Jan. 5 after averaging 17.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 2.6 assists per game during a 2-1 stretch for UWRF.
- UWRF leads the WIAC with 7.4 three-pointers made per game, while ranking third in team three-point percentage (33.4%).
