The UW-River Falls Softball program is set to embark on its 2025 season, starting this weekend matchups against Hamline and Luther at the Rochester Dome in Rochester, Minn. on Sunday, March 2.

FALCON NOTES
- Ethan Giese leads the Falcons in his first year as the program's head coach in 2025. Giese joined UWRF after spending last season as an assistant at the University of Dayton, where he was a part of the Flyers' coaching staff that earned Atlantic 10 Coaching Staff of the Year. He spent the previous four seasons as an assistant coach for UW-La Crosse.
- The Falcons are coming off a 2024 season in which the team went 10-22.
- Kelly Aultman returns for the Falcons this season, after leading the team in batting average (.330), slugging (.477), OPS (.865), hits (29), RBIs (16), and home runs (3) in the 2024 season. She earned All-WIAC Honorable Mention last season.
- The Falcons open the season with two games at the Luther Dome Games, before competing at the Auggie Dome Games next weekend. UWRF will then travel to Clermont, Fla., where the team will compete in 12 games across March 15-22.
