Falcons to compete at Auggie Dome Games this weekend

The UW-River Falls softball program is set to continue its 2025 campaign, heading to the Auggie Dome Games hosted by Augsburg in Minneapolis, Minnesota on March 7-8.

The Falcons will play two doubleheaders, facing Martin Luther and Crown College

FALCON NOTES

  • UWRF started the season last weekend at the Luther Dome Games, dropping both games by just one run. The Falcons lost to Hamline 4-3 and Luther 3-2.
    • Sophomore catcher Tessa Peterson started off the season with a 5-6 performance at the plate across the two games, totaling two RBIs and two runs.
    • Senior pitcher Lindsey Duggan pitched 6.1 total innings for the Falcons, striking out five batters and allowing just two hits and one earned run.
