MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — The UW-River Falls women's lacrosse team closed out its 2025 season with a 28-0 victory at Augsburg on Tuesday, April 29.
UWRF's offense saw its most proficient scoring effort of the program's history, setting new records with 28 goals scored in a game and 41 total points. The victory moved UWRF's record for the 2025 season to 12-5 overall and 6-3 in WIAC play.
The Falcons started off the game strong, establishing a 9-0 lead by the end of the first quarter. The first four minutes went scoreless, but UWRF built a 5-0 lead by the five-minute mark and extended the advantage to 9-0. The Falcons were led by three goals from Brooke Glumack in the first quarter. As a team, UWRF held an 18-1 advantage in shots and 13-0 edge in shots on goal.
UWRF extended its lead to 15-0 at halftime, scoring six more goals off a 9-0 advantage in shots on goal in the second quarter.
The second half saw the Falcons control possession and add seven more goals in the third quarter and six in the final frame, walking off with a program-record 28 goals and holding the Auggies scoreless.
In total, UWRF held a 39-0 advantage in shots on goal and a 53-2 advantage in total shots. The Falcons forced 31 turnovers and limited Augsburg to 4-22 on clear attempts — UWRF went 10-10.
Brooke Glumack totaled six points off three goals and three assists — she finished the season with 36 assists and moved into first place all-time in career assists (68) by a UWRF women's lacrosse player. Samantha Hayek, who last week notched her 100th career goal, finished the day with five points off three goals and two assists. Natasha Berthiaume totaled six points off five goals (a new career high) and one assist. Megan Peter and Piper Perron recorded four points each. Rebecca Gill recorded a career-best nine draw controls.
